Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9/7/2025
We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what the GitHub Discord Bot does with data and the permissions it requests.
What We Access
- Discord: messages that invoke the bot and configuration stored per server/channel (e.g., default repository, allowed roles).
- GitHub: repositories you authorize, labels, assignees, and issue content you submit through the bot.
What We Store
We store minimal configuration necessary for the bot to function, such as a channel’s default repository, allowed users/roles, and audit metadata for created issues (IDs and timestamps). We do not store full message histories.
How We Use Data
- Create GitHub issues from your bot commands.
- Suggest labels and validate inputs to reduce mistakes.
- Enforce admin settings like allowed roles and rate limits.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Data is shared only with Discord and GitHub as required to provide the service you requested.
Security
We use reasonable security measures to protect data in transit and at rest. Admins can revoke the bot’s permissions at any time from Discord and GitHub.
Your Choices
- Remove the bot from your Discord server.
- Revoke GitHub access via GitHub’s application settings.
- Ask an admin to clear or update channel settings.
