Terms of Service
Last updated: 9/7/2025
By using the GitHub Discord Bot (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Use of the Service
- You must comply with Discord and GitHub policies.
- You are responsible for the content you submit and any actions taken using your Discord or GitHub accounts.
- Admins may configure permissions that limit who can create issues.
Accounts and Access
The Service requires access to certain Discord and GitHub scopes to create and manage issues as requested. You may revoke access at any time in Discord or GitHub settings, which may disable functionality.
Acceptable Use
- No spam, abuse, or unlawful content.
- No attempts to disrupt or overload the Service.
- No misuse of @everyone/@here mentions or similar mass pings.
Data
We store minimal configuration to operate the Service (for example, channel defaults and allowed roles). For details on data handling, please see our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot and revoking GitHub access.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
